Obstacles Released

After months of planning, the potential obstacles for the Stop, Drop & Run Obstacle Course have been released. You can check them out here.  As a result of having obstacles, we will be having a wave every fifteen minutes for the course to minimize the wait at obstacles.  If running with a group, please create a team and instruct them to register for the same wave time.  Registration can be completed here.

Stay up to date!

While this is the main source of information for the Stop, Drop & Run 5k we do have other forms of media that can keep you up to date in regards to events with the fire department.  The other website that we maintain is www.monacafire.com.  This website features information about the fire department itself and also the fire calls that we respond to.

The other form of media that we spend a large amount of our time on is our Facebook page.  Due to the ease of posting and updating information we use our page (www.facebook.com/MonacaFD) to post immediate information and up to the minute updates.  This is especially useful for breaking information, evacuations, fire calls, ect.
