About This Event
The Stop, Drop & Run 5K is one of Beaver County’s largest races that features a standard 5K Walk/Run and a firefighter themed obstacle course.  This course is between 4-4.5 miles long and features over 20 firefighter themed obstacles.  Participants are able to register for both the standard 5k and the obstacle course if they desire.

Packet Pick-Up
All pre-registered participants are encouraged can pick up their packet at Station 57 after 7:30 a.m the morning of the race.

Bag Check
A free bag check is available for all participants of the Stop, Drop & Run 5K.  Location of bag check is behind the fire station in what used to be the “Monaca Car Wash”.

After Party
All participants 21 and older will receive a complimentary beer after the race.  We are still working on the details for an after party we are planning.

First Responder Discount
Firefighters, Police Officers, EMTs, and Military receive a 20% discount off registration.  You must enter your department’s name when registering online.

First wave starts at 9:30 a.m. and then every 10 minutes thereafter

Awards
All participants will be awarded a medal at the finish of the race.  There are no placements in this race.

Team Competition
There is now an optional team competition for the Stop, Drop & Run Obstacle Challenge.  Please note that this isn’t a requirement and that runners can participate individually as they have in the past.  The average of the top four times from the team will be utilized for ranking purposes from each team.  Teams can be as large as you desire and all members of the team will run in the same race wave.  A traveling trophy has been designed that will be awarded to the winning team for the year.  A trophy will be awarded to a Military/First Responder & Families Team and a Civilian team as well.  More information can be found at the Team Competition page.
